SERIES I: THE FEMININE DIVINE

The Feminine Divine is a collection of four limited-edition works exploring feminine presence, self-possession, and sacred sensuality through the language of Tropical Nouveau.

Inspired by Art Nouveau ornamentation, tropical flora, and contemporary femininity, each work portrays a woman fully inhabiting her own beauty and power.

Printed as archival pigment editions on Hahnemühle William Turner paper in an edition of only 25.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Kat Reeder believes beauty is not a luxury, but a necessary part of being human. The ability to experience wonder, mystery, and delight is something we all deserve. In a world saturated with endless imagery, she chooses to create work that reminds us why beauty still matters.

Influenced by her life in Hawai'i, Reeder's signature style, Tropical Nouveau, embraces the tropical not as a destination, but as a state of being: abundant, vibrant, hopeful, and deeply alive. Drawing from world folklore, vintage illustration, decorative arts, and the enduring language of the feminine, she creates images that feel both timeless and impossible to fully explain. Her figures are meant to captivate, inviting viewers into moments that feel instinctive, symbolic, and quietly powerful.

Created in small, intentional editions, her work reflects a desire to return to a more personal relationship between artist and collector. Rather than creating images to be consumed and forgotten, Reeder hopes each piece finds a home with someone who feels seen by it, and chooses to live with it for years to come.

INDIVIDUAL WORKS

A collection of one-of-a-kind works created as singular objects, each made by hand and available only once. These pieces expand Reeder’s visual world beyond the editioned series into more intimate, tactile forms.
